Design isn’t my first career, but it’s definitely my first love. During my 12-year-career in TV news as an Emmy-award winning journalist, I renovated and designed several homes. While my TV career was successful, my true fulfillment came from creating beautiful homes to live in. Finally I decided it was time to embrace this passion I’d spent a lifetime pursuing here in my home city of Austin, Texas.

Now I transform people’s homes through full-service remodeling and new construction design. From deciding the layout of a room, to the function and design, to the final install, no detail is overlooked. And spaces should be more than just beautiful! As a mother of two, I know the importance of prioritizing practical storage. I also ensure all of my designs have timeless foundations with more trendy features sprinkled in, that way your investment can last for decades to come but still feel fresh and modern.

Most importantly, I use my skills honed by years of working in journalism to listen and problem-solve. These are two crucial skills to make sure my clients feel heard and understood when it comes to style, budget, needs and timelines. Problem solving is such an important part of project management and I work diligently with my vendors, contractors and clients to make sure projects are completed to the highest standard.
